A small possibility of failure
Brompton has stated that there’s a small possibility, when under specific circumstances, that the system can fail. If this failure happens, the electric system could continue to provide assistance to the motor. The result could be continued forward momentum, even when the rider stops pedaling.
Even though Brompton has mentioned that the risk of injury is very low, with only one reported fault that didn’t result in any injury or accident, they still recommend that you contact them.
