CRUNCH goes Cape Cod Potato Chips!

CRUNCH! Take one bite out of Cape Cod Potatoe chips and you’ll learn what true crunchiness is all bout. The first time I tried these incredible potato chips I couldn’t believe how they managed to make them so crunchy and delicious at the same time. I didn’t know much about potato chips and the different ways that they can be cooked. That’s when I decided to do a little research of my own, and figured that looking through the different brands at the grocery store isle would be a great start. As I checked out the packaging of other chips at the grocery store, I saw chips that were baked, fried, and air popped, but none mentioned anything about being kettle cooked. I kept wondering what kettle cooked meant, and pictured in my mind a giant kettle with a whole bunch of potato chips being dumped into it, and being cooked over a hot fire. Little did I know, Cape Cod actually does dump their potato chips into a giant kettle heated over a fire, and cooked in natural oils until they are perfectly crispy.

Cape Cod Chips are kettle cooked

This is the very reason that Cape Cod Potato Chips taste much better than most of the other brands that are available at the regular grocery stores. First they start by selecting and slicing the freshest potato’s that they can find. Then they are placed into a huge kettle that is heated by a red hot flame, that causes the natural oils that are added to brown the potato’s just right. This is what gives them those clusters of dark spots and amazing crunch, compared to the other mass produced potato chips that are just cooked on a conveyor belt. Instead of getting a flat tasting potato chip you get a crunchy chip that contains flavors that attack your taste-buds until all the cravings are wiped out.

Cape Cod Chips are all natural

What I truly like about Cape Cod Potato Chips is that they don’t contain a huge bunch of ingredients like other brands of chips do. The more ingredients you see under the nutrition facts the more artificial flavors and preservatives the food contains. I’ve seen ingredient lists so long with additives that I could hardly pronounce, making me feel like I needed a degree in chemistry just to understand what I was eating. Not only are all these unnatural ingredients unhealthy for you, but also take away from the natural flavors of the potato chips cheating you out of the experience of actually being able to taste them. I truly believe in the culture that exists in Italy when it pertains to preparing and enjoying food. In Italy they use only the freshest most natural ingredients to prepare their food, and they don’t add a lot of unnatural flavorings. They like to savor their food because everything they prepare is made with pride and tastes phenomenal.

Cape Cod Chips taste amazing

Cape Cod Potato Chips remind me of this because they contain only fresh potato’s and natural oils, making them my favorite potato chips currently on the market. I wish that I could tell you that I was the one that originally discovered this brand of potato chips in the isle at the store, but then I’d be lying. It was my mom who found these incredible potato chips because she has an amazing talent of finding some of the best tasting potato chips I’ve ever tried. She told me that she picked them out because they said reduced fat, even though they have different flavors including the original version. When she tried them, she ended up loving them so much that they became her favorite potato chips to crunch on at night while watching her favorite programs on television. At first I was skeptical because I’m not much for believing what manufactures put on the cover of their food wrappers. Every company claims to have the most delicious and natural food products on the market, with most ending up dissapointing when they can’t live up to the hype.

Cape Cod Potato Chips didn’t dissapoint, and instead they became my favorite brand of potato chips, just like mom. Now whenever I go to the grocery store and decide to pick out any snacks, the first thing I pick out is the reduced fat or barbecue flavored Cape Cod Potato Chips. I truly enjoy the flavor and especially the crunch, and they are my favorite snack to have with a hot cup of coffee when I’m working on blog posts at night. This is a brand of potato chips that I’ve become very loyal to and even though I occasionally try different brands that my mom will bring home, nothing will replace my addiction to Cape Cod Potato Chips. Besides who can argue, when they contain such a CRUNCH?!
