Old fashioned steel bench in downtown Rochester, NY.

Rochesters old charm.

Over the years Rochester, NY has changed whether we like it or not. Many new streets and intersections have been updated with new lighting, bike lanes and even started to be turned into two way streets. Midtown plaza has vanished with just Tower 280 still standing and the building behind the new Democrat & Chronicle.
The Chase Square building has been turned into Manhattan Square and a huge part of the inter loop has been filled in.
These are just some of the many changes downtown Rochester, NY has been through but there’s still a lot of old charm left. We have some of the best old style buildings around and even though most of the bus shelters have been removed there’s still old style benches and information stands still around. And let’s not forget that you still can get to any place in Rochester, NY even on a bus in 30 minutes or less.
So yes Rochester, NY has changed but it still has that city vibe to it while still feeling like a small town.
