The handlebars are high and the seatpost is long. It has 16 inch wheels, 2-speeds and a steel frame that’s strong. So you can say it’s made for clowns if you like but I still love my Brompton folding bike.
I use to ride 24 speed hybrid with 700c wheels until I realized how much of a hassle regular bikes are in the city. At home it use to be in the way when I opened the door. If out riding and it rained I couldn’t fold it up and get on the bus. There was even a time I went to Park Ave and had no choice but to lock it up to a street sign and hope nobody smashed it up while opening their car door.
Now I don’t have to worry about where I put it when I go places because I’m able to bring it inside with me wherever I go. Plus I don’t have to ever carry a lock.
